Default Upgrade options for the Losi 8ight 2.0 B

I am thinking of buying a Losi 8ight 2.0 buggy to get into the hobby.

Once I do this, what upgrade options do I have and where is the best place to purchase them online?

Thanks a lot.

Front tower needs to be replaced with a kingheadz or matrix concepts tower, if you get the old one.

Many people are going to give you a list of stuff YOU DO NOT NEED.

The only thing I would SUGGEST is a alum serco arm, you can Order it from Amain.

I have both and run them every weekend. They hold up GREAT, things are going to wear out and there is nothing you can do about that,

When you say "if you get the old one", do you mean a 1.0 Losi 8ight Buggy or do you mean that are different batches of the 2.0 version?

If there are different batches, how do you tell if you have the old one or the new one.

Is this what you're talking about? There seem to be a few alum arms for Losi products?

Thanks.

I think most 2.0 kits come with the old tower. Losi revised the front tower from the buggy because they were breaking and taking the bulkheads with them. You can identify it by looking between the stand offs. If its about 2mm thick you have the old one. If its about 5mm thick you have the new revised tower.
