The Thread Title should also include what Rx system you are using.

The PT is what scares me about running un regulated. On nimh cells I have found any pack that uses the Elite 1500's are the best I have had them take 1800 mills

I think the only one that's not officially a LiPo safe servo, that has had a manufacturer say anything about it is Hitec and the 7955TG

Anyone having glitching problems with the Losi regulators? I tried to run one again with my new Futaba 4pk and it glitched during practice. I tried the same one last year with my Ko Propo /Spektrum Helios, same deal. My buddy who runs for Team Losi experienced glitching problems too, we both ripped them out and not a problem the rest of the day. Regulators were mounted inside the receiver boxes.

They're not officially supported at that voltage.

you should be fine....i know multiple people who run 5955's unregulated....its basically the exact same board they use in the 79XX minus the new Programmable circuit's and higher resolution...but that wont stop them from running unregulated.

i did at first when i still ran a FM Synth mod...but when i went to 2.4 the glitching stopped....my reg's are also mounted Directly beside the Rx Standing up with the bumpy side of the board facing away from the Rx......Did you run unregulated or just went back to nimh ?

Apparently, it's not the board that's the issue... (in the 79xx series, anyway) it's the motors... I asked if it was something with the G2 circuitry, but was told it's the motor...

I took out the lipo completely. I went back to Nimh, so did my Losi buddy. I'm gonna try a different brand regulator and maybe mount it outside the receiver box. I cancelled a order on a second Losi regulator that same night at the hobbyshop I work at.
