Get some LiPo voltage rated servos, then you don't have to worry about a regulator

My STR(R) looks to have a fair amount of space for my CCBEC in the RX portion of the box...

And, of course, a Loud Obnoxious Alarm

Default Orion Marathon 1600 Stick Pack

Orion Marathon 1600 Stick Pack....fits perfectly in the wide part of my RC8 battery box. No need to place packing around it. Leaves plenty of room for any receiver.

Before I went lipo, I ran the Ballistic 2700 mah bat. I could run practice and 2 or 3 5-7 min qual's with np problem and then change out for the main, not because the battery was low but just to have a fresh battery. I have not tried it, but I believe you could run practice, heats and a 30 - 45 min main on 1 lipo 2000mah +.

For awhile, on my Clodbuster, I was running a 2400mAh (2x1200mAh packs together) and, while it was only powering one servo, I could run it for 20 minutes, leave it sit for a week without charging, run another 20 minutes, and let it sit for another week, and another 20 minutes of run time...

All on one charge.
