Default car wont idol stationary

got kind of a strange question. i am running a rb ws7 in my losi 2.0 and it has been running fine. i fired it up today same as usual, and for some reason it wont idol correctly. the idol rpms are fine (not idling real high) but when i stop the tires keep spinning on the box and putting it on the ground the car rolls kinda slow. and when i engage the breaks, the is a strange humming sound like air is leaking. but if it is just an air leak i dont understand why this would make the car want to go. i tired turing down the idol and that is not the problem because when i engage the breaks and hold them it just wants to die. would really appreciate the help

well if the car wants to go i would be looking at the clutch. it's engaged that's why the car is moving. it could be numerous things that's making the clutch engage though. couple things to look at is the idle is to high, the clutch could be locked up (some malfunction in the clutchbell), etc...

i had a similar problem on my 8ight-t. the clutch locked up some how and everytime i put the truck on the ground it would die because at idle there's not enough power to keep things moving. took the clutch apart and fixed the problem and everything was good.
