Default Is it even worth it

I came across two team associated rc10gt parts trucks, they need engines and servo and shocks to get running on both. these worth fixing to use as bashers at the track, or would I be better parting them and get something else. I got them for nothing. They are in decsent shape. Just dont know if the cost will be worth it. I know this is a dumb question but I dont know if anybody has done this and realized after not worth it.
