TC5 , you should use the JP3 pipe, my buddy runs it, and the motor SCREAMS... it already has plenty of bottum snap, and the JP3 help smooth it and and get the top end singing, i picked one up almost new for $40 bux, just look around for it

JP-3 is really not the pipe for that engine. 086 will give better preformance and much better runtime.

How can you say that??? everyones perfomrance will be different as everyone tunes different.. I pit my buddy all the time, he gets well over 8.5 min of runtime, and the motor rips with the JP3 pipe.... If TC5 cant afford it and buys a 086 due to money then thats a different reason, but the JP3 works great with that motor..Not to mention the JP3 is a lot stronger and will take more abuse then the 086 will...

First off, The Dynamite pipes are extremely strong. Just as strong as the jammin pipe.

Second, ask any novarossi person and they will tell you to stay as far away from all jammin pipes as possible. They simply don't fit novarossi engines. The 086 was origionally designed by nova for thier engines. There is a reason that they run better. It is really sad how many people run jammin pipes on engines that could seriously benefit from a different pipe. I used to be one of those people, but have since seen the light. Not that I have too many nova engines anymore.

il try it out later when i get the money for it , if i dont like the dynamite pipe than il proberty get that. i agree through it does depend on your tune cause i had a smoothie pipe on my gt2 and that thing had no bottom end on my track alest and than i tryed a guy with a mod engine a .15 and that thing had bottom end so aparently u have to lean the low end out to get bottom end for a smoothie pipe

It physically fits the engine, but doesn't "fit" it preformance wise!

Everyone has there opinions, personally, ive seen 4 motors the JP3 worked great on, a stock v-spec, a nova bf21, a rb s5, and a nova p5x, I have nothing but great results with that pipe.. Bes tof luck with whatever pipe you choose.

The jammin pipes run awesome on the v-spec. They run decent on all engines, but on the 3 nova based engines you quoted, there are pipes that will get much better preformance. Best guy to talk to about nova engines is HOUSTON on here.

So, if the VSpec has very good low end, that means you compinsate with a top end pipe? I was thinking VSpec with Dynaminte Platinum Hardcoated 086 pipe with a 053 pipe for short tracks in my MBX6

IMO the v-spec needs a midrange pipe. I would go with the 053 out of those 2. Preferably the losi RE11/os 2050. For $65 you can't beat the losi pipe!
