Not really sure how you would get a LST header on a buggy. My guess is you have the losi sport pipe from one of the 8ight rtr's. A LST header certainly wouldn't work, and I think LST pipes have a bottom facing stinger. If it is the losi HT sport pipe, it will give tons of bottom end but zero top end. Same pipe as the dynamite HT 007 I believe.

Yeah the 1/8 style pipe has a C header. The LST uses a very strange bend header.

You really need an 086 for that engine. That pipe you have is the absolute opposite of what you want. The dynamite pipes are very nice and cheap too.

It's not so much a matter of the track, but a matter of what pipe fits the engine, and the losi pipe certainly doesn't fit that engine!

TC5 man, toss the dynamite platinum 086 like these guys are telling you to do. I just put that motor and pipe combo in my 8 2.0 and it "sounds" like a real nice match. I will find out at the track on sunday. Oh btw I'm the dude that fixed your speed control at a race in pennsauken hobbies. Come on out to Trax70 this sunday signups at 9 races start 10am sharp so that we can get home to our "mommas".
