Just threw an RC8 air filter on my CRT. Should I foam oil the inner AND the outer foams? Element is thinner than most.

Yes, oil both inner and outer foams. Run one of these ebay dry layer filter covers over the top of it, and you will have the best filtration you can get. They work very well, and are washable/re-usable!

I use this exact same set up but i only oil the inner and use the ebay outer thing.

I run that exact setup and it works incredibly well.

I run K-factory foam filter with K-Factory oil on it. Just a few drops on the outer does its work on my Go 7p engine!

i run the RB filter with both the layer oil and top it up with the Ebay thingy.. dats the best protection i could get so far

If I run on outdoor tracks I do not oil the outer filter just the inner.

i put oil on both will be getting the e-bay thing
fyi i got some air filters form gs racing put oil on both
and my v-spec ran like crap may be to much filter or
oil ? put the stock filter back on runs grate ?
