Default Pipes for beginners

Well the title could be misleading but it’s not for beginners however for newcomers into the nitro area.

From my little research I've learned the following:

Must haves are:

Dynamite 053 and 086 (corrected by Integra, thx)
JP-3

All three in hard-anodized

Did I miss anything?

I would add the RE-11 to that, especially if anyone actually likes a V-spec..V-spec with Re-11=up to 12 minutes runtime...

But.....this is my philosophy on the whole pipe thing, some of it is actual truth and some is jut my opinion.

Truth...If you buy an engine with 5 ports or more you want a low end pipe.(053) This will give you more low end torque and help smooth out your powerband.

Truth....If you buy and engine with 4 ports or less go with a top end pipe (086). It will give you more top speed and keep pulling in the straights.

if you have only 1 engine..you only need 1 pipe..No need to start a collection until its needed. If you love the engine you have, and you have the right pipe on it, why go buy more pipes?

If you are compelled to spend money like the rest of us. The 3 must have pipes on the above list will work with 95% of the engines made today

2035 pretty much is a 053 ....good pipe, but stinger is very weak, Dynamite pipe is much better I think for the durability factor.

the re-11 fall's into which catergory? i'm asking because it was stated that anything less than 4 port's 086 anything more than 5 port's 053 here we have the re-11 lol

does this same principle apply to .26/.28/.30 sized mill's or only .21's?

thnx

RE-11 Is the OS 2050 copy..It works great with the OS speed, Ninja, and V-spec, which are all 4 or 5 ports I believe. So I would say the RE-11 is the best choice for the mid range engines with 4-5 ports

Not even close bud, the 2035 is a three chamber pipe
