I agree atleast get the dx3. You CAN'T use your stock reciever with the spektrum radios. If you get the dx3 you won't have to buy a second reciever. Although I would seriously reccomend the dx3s. It is a much nicer radio, and comes with 2 recievers aswell.

Buy the futaba 3 p.m 2.4 fasst. They run under $200 and have al the options you will need E.P.A., servo speed, abs braking, expo, dual rate, 10 model memory etc. I used one of these as my first transmitter and it worked great without issues. Infact my son still uses.

ok i think ill just wait and save up and buy the DX3R so i can have 2 recievers with it LOL.

with the dx2 you only get 1 receiver and another will cost you $79. after you add that to the price of the dx2 combo you would be better off with the dx3 cause it has 2 receivers.

buy the futaba 3pm a much nicer raido than a dx2
or a dx3 you get way more things like abs brakeing
sub trem you can change trun in speed it has expo
on th and st all things you will like to have in a raido

The DX3R only comes with 1 reciever. The DX3S comes with 2, as does the normal dx3. If you want 2 recievers with it, the best bet is the DX3S.

I had the 3pm 2.4 and liked it alot now I have the MX-3 2.4FHSS they both are nice but I will say the Futaba was nicer for $30 more.
