can anyone tell me what is better metal shield bearings or rubber shield

metal shield : less drag, less seal

rubber shield: more drag, better seal



generally: metal for electric and rubber for nitro

I use Avids Revolutions Rubber Shield, place the rubber side out to catch the dirt and have never had one go bad either wheel hubs or clutch bell. I alway change the clutch regularly which for me is every half gallon just to make sure they are fresh. Where else can you beat there prices and quality.

the metal have less drag till all the dirt gets in on the frist lap
now you have more drag and dirt in your bearings go
rubber sealed bearings a little drag but longer life
be nice to your bearings and thay will be good to you
clean clean lube clean
