Default $250 to spend...which engine for my RC8?

I’ve got $250 to spend on a brand new engine for my RC8. Suggestions? I was going to get the Novarossi .21 bf limited, but my budget went up a little, so I wanted to see what else is out there.

The Reedy should be out within a week or so and you should be able to get one for around that price.

I'm not familiar with the RC8, but I'm guessing it comes with all of that like the other kits do.

Default Do you Ebay?

If so, check out the auctions for RC8...here's the entire clutch setup ending today, compare the prices to Amain.

Also you can look for Thunder Tiger ST1 stuff too, the internal diff gears and diff cases are the same, the clutch assembly is the same too, but AE uses Al shoes.

Engine Mount

You can get a Go -Tech 5 port for $209. The parts for the motors are super cheap. they run amazing for 10+ gallons. LMk if you have anymore questions.

^^ That's what I bought. I'm pretty sure it already has the engine mount.

I've already got a Jammin JP4, reciever, etc. So if I get the V-spec, I should be about ready. Minus a starter box obviously. Do you think this was a good deal?

Look into a Jammin JPX .21 engine. It"s balls to the wall, with all the power and speed you will ever need. Right about $220, and you have some left over to get the right pipe....(Sell That JP4)

The JPX.21 is a great engine for $225. I would also consider getting hold of mark at POWERHOUSE. You can buy a non tuned GRP.21 Race ported and race tuned I believe for arround $260. The GRP engines in my opinion are one of the best. I have not ran the new extech .21 engines but have heard they are also A great engine for aprox.$250.
