Both will work ok but not the best. Two 775 motors are better ,but most important thing is with single 775 (which I have) is the right battery.I use a 4s lipo.I have used the two 550 motor starter with only a 12v gel cell and didn't think it was strong enough.

Save yourself the trouble. Get the truggy starter. Only a few dollars more. Two 775 motors.

Default ofna truggy box

I have three 2 truggy boxes and a third ofna that has a single 775 use lipos with all.truggy box is the best by far works well with 12volt or lipo. Lipo is the best I got my 4s 2200mah 30c off of ebay for $40.

I've had to rebuild the truggy start once, but it's great because it is so cheap to re-wire if it needs it. It's definitely the best box you can get. Has a good alignment pin system, too. Has more than enough power. It will drain your battery a bit quicker than other boxes, but it's worth it. I may convert mine to Lipo to solve that problem.

I love my truggy box but I also have the smaller single 770 motor one from Ofna and is NEVER lets me down. You can't go wrong for the price and it doesnt weigh a ton.

Here is THE best starter box on the planet. And it looks good too! Check out the sweet pin alignment setup.

Two motors and a lip is the way to go. I run the mugen starter box with a 4 cell,15C, 4000mah lipo and it will start a small block chevrolet. I cant wait to put the same battery in my ofna truck box.
