i made my way out there today for my first nats and my first trip to leisure hours. the level of competition was amazing, as was the driving skills. the track layout was impressive, and seemed to challege some. i cant believe how competative a buggy with a broken shock can be in a main. congrats to losi on the win.

Should have gotten a pic with it sticking straight up in the air. It stayed that way for a while still able to get around

Mayfield is in a class by himself, truggy was a 45 minute clinic on driving. Buggy was actually the same had he taken that reedy motor out of his car and put something in with some fuel mileage the outcome may have been different. Congrats to Adam though as I believed he 3 pit a 45 minute main! Tough luck award for sure goes to Jesse Robbers for if I ever have a bad day racing I'll think of his week and feel ok about mine. Best cars on the track.... Tough call, majority in the main means nothing. Lutz looked very impressive with the tamiya, hot bodies all looked dialed. Mayfields car was the best but if you've ever seen them at big races his car looks nothing like rest of the AE cars on the track. The Z maxx car is for sure out! Haha anyway its cool to see so many fast guys in one place. When you go club racing and you've got 2 or 3 guys that lay it down week in week out they all came here this week to see where they rank and it was awesome. Can't wait for the next event to learn a little more. But all in all it really doesn't matter cause in a couple years or maybe months little dakota is going to kick everyones ass anyway!
Truggy one simple word "whopping". I thought he had buggy race at one time but it was so hard to hear the guy calling the race where I was at. He was driving the buggy very hard

I had a great time even though I didn't race. I got to see a lot of friends and even got to announce a couple of races... Leisure hours is a great facility and I look forward to attending a race there (driving) again. Big thanks to Scott and his crew for everything!

Default Thank you all!!

We had a great time this past week at Leisure Hours.

Thank you to Dawn and Sean Sanchez, the ROAR RMT, Jimmy Babcock, Aaron Webb and Canyon Thompson and the Leisure Hours crew who all made this event very smooth and well run!

I would personally like to thank;

Ryan Lutz for putting up with me all week and his masterful pit work.

Mark Pavidis for all of his tire expertise, help and advise.

The Paige family for the always great times, help and support!!

Mike Moralez for your help and transpo.

Robert Morris for keeping my radio gear top notch.

Mitch Looper for your great clutches.

Paul Coleman for last minute pit help and substitute turn marshalling and for just being you!

Russ Wernimont for saving my bacon at the last minute in the mains!

Congrats to Ryan Maifield and Adam Drake for thier repeat national titles.

Congrats to Ryan Lutz for using his talent to put a brand new buggy into the show!

Huge thanks to Leisure Hours and ROAR for putting on an excellent event! That was my first ROAR Nationals and I had a blast!

Big thanks to Associated and JConcepts for their support. I did a LOT better with their help.

Back to real life now...
