2) The indoor offroad track (again....from what I understand) will be leveled and will be open for pitting. Anyone who has raced here or seen the track on Youtube knows that that is a lot of space. Not sure if will cost anything....I don't think it will...just a feeling. If you do pit in there....be nice and clean up after yourselves...we have to race on that later.
3) Illinois is smokeless state. NO INDOOR SMOKING. That goes for the indoor track as well.
4) If you are coming from out of state and have a tent/EZ-up/canopy. I would STRONGLY suggest the following. A generator/power cord/extension cord...keeps it simple and cuts down on the building power demands. A cooler...it's going to be hot and humid...just count on it. And sunscreen, sunglasses or a small wading pool to keep things in the chill zone. Oh yeah....an umbrella might be a good thing to think about.

I know most of you aren't new and it may seem overkill to say all of this but I'm just trying to help.
wow mellow, how about a hat? and some shoes? and some cheezy puffs? see you sunday

I don't know how ROAR works exactly or this event even but i was wondering if there is/are any awards or payouts ?
Also what makes this a Worlds Qualifier ? Can you qualify anywhere else later on down the road?
Lastly DAWN are thier any spots still open from cancelations ?

yes it is right next to the dragstrip, but you will miss the nascar race by a week. you will also miss the famous team demo derby at rt. 66 by a week, as it is a week after the nats.

Maybe I can sneak out on the track and pick up some rubber chunks that came off of Tony Stewart's tires or something...

I've toured Daytona, Indy, Laguna Seca and Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It would be neat to see another track if there's time.

No cash awards at ROAR events.

Worlds qualifier for IFMAR Worlds which is every other year. Currently, there are no other qualification events - although we are working on that.

Yes. Spots available. Overnight entry flyer with payment and please make sure your membership is current THROUGH the dates of the event.

Is there wireless internet available at the track? If not, how's the cell coverage there? I might have to do some work remotely while at the track next week.

...and surf porn.
