Default shock oil

Hi, I was just wondering what an estimate of how much shock oil would be used in a set of 1/8 buggy shocks (not big bore) so I would know how much to buy. Also what do you recommend for for a shock oil manufacture? Thanks.

First you need to figure out what oil range you will need, then stock up. Losi oils are cheap, and you can find them anywhere. Xray oils are the best, but you will pay more for those.

Don't forget oils come in 3 different viscosity measurements WT, CPS, CST. Each manufacture can use different standards, so look carefully before you buy.

Here is a link to some oil conversion charts and calculators.

what makes xray silicone oil better than any other? its just standard silicone oil, overprices as it's sold with fancy rc brand

just stick to single brand. as for example WTs do not match at all and even cts can be quite off brand to brand
