I,m thinking of buying a MEGA ZX .12 with slide carb for my stadium truck. I know that this isnt the most common choice but will this be a competetive race setup. I know that a new OS TZ .12 is only like $160 but i can get this for half that.:weird:

spend the money on the tz save yourself the headache with the cheap motor

I would also suggest the OS. I would also suggest getting a rotary carb, not a slide carb. The rotary carbs make the engine seem more linear and smooth, the slide carb makes it feel like an on/off switch. I have been racing 1/10th scale gas truck for 10+ years, you want a smooth power delivery to limit wheel spin.
