Default RS8T review from a newbie

There was a guy that came into my local shop the other day and was talking about owning the truggy class that weekend.

So I got pissy and ordered a RS8T rtr and broke it in in 5 hours before the race lol

I'm very far from a professional racer or driver but this car is the best thing I've ever owned.

( i currently own a Revo 3.3, and an MGT 8.0 and had a bunch of brushless electric vehicles) but this is the first truggy I've used.

I'm hooked my first time racing I raced was Friday night with truggys and buggys in the same class and I came in 2nd against a bunch of "hardcore" guys around here.

I'm hooked!!! Even in the RTR the servos are plenty strong and the only problem I've had is the servo saver getting lose and not letting it turn sharp. Tightened it up and its ready to go again.

I think I found a new hobby

ooops

yes I did mean RC8T thanks

I love it so far, if we would ever get enough people here to sep. the truggy and buggy class I'd pick up the RC8

any opinions on a monster truck to pick up?

My revo is "ok" but I"m sure there is better?

You already have the best 1 MGT 8.0 it can easily be made race worthy with a few $. Go to MGT.com and they will show you all the tricks.

I'd never in a million years think the MGT is a better racer then the Revo 3.3

It just seems to roll over when you turn sharp and NO brakes at all.

But I'd much rather put some money into it and have something diff.

Thanks Guys!!

Yes the RC8T is an excellent truggy. You can read the review of the RC8T Factory Team version here -> http://www.myrcbox.com/?p=685
