looking to buy 1/10 nitro new to rc

Im brand new to rc so i dont no much about them I got a slash a month ago n i luv it alot of my friends have nitros i was looking at rustler 2.5 the guy at the store told me losi xxx nt is the best but my friend just bought the losi monster truck and it is a POS I am also considering the AE but my slash is so tough I like Traxxas but its all i no btw i wont be racing just bashing thanx

Depends on what you're into. I think Traxxas makes the best bashing vehicles around. If you like MT, the Traxxas E-maxx is still a great truck. If I were getting a stadium truck to bash with I'd go with the 3.3 Jato. Tough truck, ungodly fast.

Which Losi truck?
Forget 1/10th scale, go 1/8th much more durable and popular and you could find a race easier

I'm a fan of traxxas and associated. I just got a RC10GT2 and love it. So light and stable. if you are looking to race get the GT2 otherwise get a traxxas. slash, rusler, jato, t-maxx there all great

You can look at the Traxxas T-Maxx :)

Bro, go for 1/8 size!! Savage X or LOSI LST 2.
Good for bashing.

If you are on a budget, I would stick to 1/10th scale, most of the time, the bigger rigs cost more.

Since you already got slash, why don't you try 4wd cars? for 1/10 nitro there are plenty of choices, IMO pick Revo 3.3...it's perfect for bashing and racing if you going to consider later...

If you're brand new to R/C bypass nitro all together and go electric. You'll thank me later. I say go electric especially if you're racing 1/10 scale, 1/10 nitro's are a dying breed, no sense in dealing with the nitro pain when a brushless setup is faster, low maintenance, and quicker to tune for any track.

We don't all live in the ATX where we can hit Ncontrol and race on an actual 1/10 track, LOL. I need to get back up there. I think he's just looking for a basher, that's why I said Jato. But yeah, IMO a 1/10 BL stadium truck is the most versatile vehicle. You can bash with it, you can race electric, and a lot of places you can also run it against gas 1/10. If I were only going to own one car it would be a BL T4. But I'm waaaaay past the one car mark!
