You will have to re-tune the engine for 25%, richer I believe (CCW). It shouldn't be that far off though, is it not firing at all?

Also, what type of fuel was/is it? some of the sports blends have a ton of oil in them, in that case it may need to be leaner.

CCW - counter clock wise

For the needle settings I don't know, the manual may have the default needle settings.

Make sure you glow plug is working, take it out and see if it glows. You normally want to run a cooler plug with higher nitro but it should run regardless.

Also, check your fuel pressure line, and fuel line. If your changing to more nitro content, you should actually lean it out a bit. Put a new glowplug in before the re-tune.

Oh,... and check the motors head screws for tightness...

???? higher nitro means richer settings, not leaner.

I also have to lean it when I drop down to 20% & richen it back up when I use 30% again.I figured it was from 10% less boom juice(nitro) & 10% more cooling juice(alchohol) but, everyone tunes different for a different feel & alt & weather is different & so are motors/plugs.16-25% will not stop it from starting if your tune was good before & most race level motors are shimmed for 25-30% nitro from the factory so you shouldnt need to change that.look for something else. Can you see fuel through the lines getting to the carb? Did you do anything else like seal the carb when you changed over?Lastly just because a glow plug glows dont mean its good. Its the platnum plating on the plug wire that when is hot ignites the fuel NOT just any old hot wire so if the platinum is worn down it will still glow but be no good.Think of the little things nitro % alone wont keep it from running.

I think that if you have fuel coming out of your crankshaft near the flywheel then your engine bearings might be going out
also i run 20% sidewinder fuel. it get good gas mileage and has less wear on your moter. Also what engine are you running

Yep, thats what I thought. Last week I had to lean the bottom and top two hours each, when switching from 20% to 30%. The 30% actually cooled better, and richened my motor up a ton. Very strange...

Too rich.

Its common for there to be a little bit of oil coming out of the exhaust, especially with high oil sport fuel, but if its "spray painting" the ground, too rich.

Learning to tune an engine can be tricky, it is really best to have someone with some experience help you out if possible.

Here is a link with some useful info, check out the Paris racing tips. Some of the info is out of date, the tuning advice is good though.
