Default Good Buggy

ok i was wondering about wat 1/8 sacale buggy is good for the price...i want a kit but they are way to expensive...is the RC8 race spec a good buggy or if not wat would be a good RTR or is the kit worth the money...i dont have motors or anything for nitro cuz i race my t4

In my eyes your better off buying the kit from the door, if not you woill just be buying all the parts later that would have been in the kit. Yes you get an engine but that engine isnt even legal at larger races and is a gas hog. If you do it right you can get a kit and be somewhat frugal on the rest of the stuff and come out with a way better car.

LOSI 8IGHT 2.0 RTR is what you need if considering an rtr. It comes with a .21 engine, starter box, a great radio spectrum dx3s. All you need is a glow igniter, fuel and bottle, and maybe another receiver pack. you might want to upgrade the steering servo and move the one on it to the throttle. This rtr will be a great starter combo for someone. Not to mention competetive.

now wat about an mbx5..my friend is selling rtr with new motor i week old..he won a main with it last week and he said he would sell it for $150

take a look at the O'Donnell z01b kit......very affordable and a great buggy

where do u buy an odonell zo1b?
wat all u need for a kit..tires, engine, exsaust system, shock stuff...and wat else?

You will also need 2 servos and a radio system.

yea i was leaning toward losi 2.0 but to expnsive..now my friend also has a 1.0 and wanted to sell the chassis and gas tank for $85 so i would buy a motor and some servos

Get the losi & sale the radio for $150-$200. That will set you up with a good buggy for around $500.
