I need help deciding what truggy to get my son... 8T 2.0 roller or RTR.

I already have an engine, pipe, good servos, and a new DX3R radio. I could sell the radio and pay the difference for the RTR.

Is the roller really worth paying that much more for it? I have a roller for myself, but I don't know what are all the differences between the RTR vs. Roller.

Any suggestions?

If you have everything for the race roller then this is the way to go.

If you have everything to get a roller going then I would get the roller for sure. You are gonna have to upgrade servos almost immediately with the rtr. There is $200 right there on top of the rtr package not to mention the difference in the chassis and all the other parts.

The key word here is Chassis..The RTR comes with a thick slab of metal..the roller will have a 4MM machined aluminum chassis that is milled out in areas to save weight and add flex

46% of teens engage in pre-marital sex. 89% drink before the age of 21. Put this in your sig if you think that pandas are the chillest animal alive.

So the new starter box isn't like the old starter box where you can easily start either the 8b or 8t.
