062 or 053 pipe
#4
the thing is i run on a medium sized track.it only has one straight and i dont even really "top out" at the end of it. so here's my question? we know the 053 seems to be a good all around pipe but if i go with a strictly bottom-end pipe like the 063 will my mid-top end performance suffer drastically??? i'm just trying to get as much bottom-end performance. thx guys

the 053 will give you all the bottom you need, are you running the s5 in truggy, i can't amagine needing that much bottom in a buggy with the s5, we ran the 053 in truggy and it haul's the mail, just the right bottom end feel, also you may see less runtime's with the 62, you know what each pipe is made for, but IMO the 53 is the better choice. the 62 really won't make you faster, but the opposite, ripping off tires out of the turn's only slow's down lap times.
that is very true. and i totally didnt even think about runtimes, silly me lol! hey well thx and i think i'm going to go with the 053! btw the engine is in a mbx5r and it still needs to be broken in! i love rb motors cause they last forever, i got over a gallon on it and it still hasn't opened up yet!
