Default professionally tuned

I heard that there are places where you can send out your motor to get professionally tuned. Is that true?

It would be best to go to your local track and have someone help you. Sending a mill elsewhere with a different climate will require a different tune.

are you talking about engine modifying? or just tuning the engine? if its just tuning the engine your best bet would be to find someone that locally that is experienced to help you out, different climates are gonna tune differently

Yes there are places that do that. But you want to do it yourself and learn how to do it. If you can get some one at the track that you are at and they can help you and you can learn. If you get it tune by someone else that not in your state what happen with you wealther changes you would need to retune the engine again and you would not know what to do.

Just a tune, no mods.

once tuned perfectly, then it would only need minor tune for my weather conditions, if any.

The whole point is to learn how to do it. It is not hard at all.

Contact Powerhouse he does a break in and race tune service. And he is an awesome modder too and has 3-4 different packages to fit your needs. He is doing 1 of mine right now.

What engine are you running?

Learning to tune a .21 to optimum specs is not impossible, just takes some patience and time.......Im learning as well, it just takes TIME. I have my first Turbo combustion engine coming soon, it will be a first for me. The top guys in this industry that are engine gurus became that way because of trial and some error. My point is this.........Why pay someone 1000 miles away at a COMPLETELY diff. altitude X amount of $ to put a racetune on your .21? When you get it back in the mail............boom........you are right back on the needles dialing it in for your climate/humidity/altitude.........just start from FACTORY BASE SETTINGS, and go from there.......MAKE SMALL INCREMENT CHANGES 1/2 hr at a time, that way you dont get ahead of yourself too fast.....and ALWAYS remember what your last change was and how it affected the tune..........practice man, just like wheeling bro........practice

This is on the money.

You need to learn yourself, as some day a beginner racer will ask you for help too!

+1. Even if you did have someone tune it for you, It can and probably will need a much different tune for your area, not to mention the tuning that takes place every day because of changing weather. Really tuning is one of the most improtant skills you NEED to master if you want to run nitro. Like the other guys have said, if you can find someone near you that will help you tune it, and teach you how to tune it, that would be best. Even if ya throw tha guy a couple bux for helping out, it's better than paying some company to do it for you, and you learning nothing from it.
