Why is this a 3day event? I think a lot more people would show if it were 1 day. Theres already a 2 day race somewhere every weekend of the summer. I understand there is a last chance qual on sunday, but that doesnt quite do it for me.

we spent alot of time talking about that when we put the series together. what we ended up with was that if we had any problems that one day would be really hard to get the races in if we do get 150 entrys
It would just make everything really rushed

Its really only a 2 day race there is plenty of pratice on Saturday morning
9am to noon but if you want to show up Friday night you are welcome to pratice

I understand why you guys made the call you did. I would like to make it to a couple these, because I wanna check out Reo and Asylum. I just dont think I can do as many full weekends this year as last, my own personal(cough cough wife) issues. Good luck, hopefully I can come check out your those tracks on a club day.

We just completed the first round of the new RcProSeries Mid South division at Whitehouse Hobbies this past weekend. We had alittle over 100 racers, and the track blue grooved much to my surprise. IT WAS FRIGIN AWESOME. I have never seen a buggy traction role like they were in the mains. We kept it dry and just blew it off. Holeshots, GridIrons, and anything else small worked great. I will be changing the layout the week before the race to keep it fair for all. Hope for a big turnout so the track can groove again. It really was a great race!!!!!!!!!

I have been bugging Carlton to shorten the RC Pro Series races. With the economy the way it is it would really help to eliminate Friday practice and just set up 2 practice heats Saturday morning and start the 3 rounds of rocket round quals by noon or so. You could still get some of the lower mains done on Saturday as well and it would make for a shorter day on Sunday so people can get home earlier.
The midwest and a few other areas will fill most of their races but some of the other divisions that have had lower turnouts in the past will struggle even more now. Cutting out a night in hotel and a days worth of fast food would help a ton.

Friday practices are optional, no real problem there. I have trouble with the racing on Sunday's, I would attend all races if it were a Sat only race day. As it stands I wont be able to attend ANY of the races. Wish you guys the best of luck

What kills us is spending all our cash in one weekend makes it hard to turn right around and race at another big event the next weekend.
We've already spent money on the PNB and gonna go to the SIC, currently running in the RC Pro Midsouth which will cost to go to Texas, throw in an end of the year FarmII race and it's almost impossible to go anywhere but a club race.
