Default 8 2.0 rear bearing

is anyone having rear bearing issues on a 8b 2.0. i know the truggy has issues so i was wondering if the buggy has the same problem. if so i want to fix it b4 hitting the track.

No problems here either. Maybe if the car was run for 2 gallons of fuel or more with ZERO maintnenance, then there might be a problem. Just check them when your going thruogh the car for your regular maintnenace.

i already have some modded hubs. i may just put them in for alittle insurance.

It's just a problem with the truggy, not the buggy.

well the only thing i had a prob with was the back left out drive was torn up and the dog bone pin was still like new after its first gallon. i checked the shim spacing and it was 2mm on the left and 4mm on the right. so now its
3mm on each side and i hope this fixes this problem.

I've had the same problem with my outdrive. I believe there was a small batch of outdrives that weren't hardened properly. It will be fine if you put on a new outdrive. But checking the shimming is fine. I set mine loose for drivetrain efficiency and fuel milage.

call losi they will replace the outdrive.....there have been a couple instances where this has happened...its not a shimming issue...its all about the Diff outdrive.

well i put my 1.0 rtr out drives on it cuz they have lasted over 9 gallons and are still in good shape.
