Default Set up questions?

Hey guys,

So I was redoing my shocks tonight and I have two set up questions. First I would like to increase the handling of my losi 8ight so I thought that if I mounted my shocks on the inner most hole(the one closest to the diffs) on the front and back this would help steering. Am I correct? Also what are the downsides to this? Also I was originally just going to put 50 watt oil in m rear but I had an itch to do all 4 shocks so I ended up putting 50 in my fronts also becase I only had the 50 watt. I was thinking I would give it a try and when I get a chance to get some 40 or 35 watt I would put that in the front. Does this sound like a good set-up, 50 rear and 40 front? Thanks alot guys, also any losi 8ight 1.0 setups would be cool.

You usually want thicker oil in the front bud. Just use one of the setups on the losi site to start with and experiment from there. Sounds like you are VERY high on the oils. The setup bustedpiecesrc posted would be a good start.

Edit- here are some more setups to look at http://www.losi.com/Products/Support...rodId=LOSK0800

If you don't already have a copy of the manual, I reccomend printing one out. It has a very nice setup guide in the back, that tells you what everything does.

Search Losi 8ight 1.0 Setup, I made a thread a while ago about setup advice. I personally run 40 in front with silver, and 25-35 in rear with green. Is your track smooth, bumpy, high bite, etc?
