are you asking about the hexxe's? if so the only real benefit you will get from them on that truck is you wont spin the hexxe's in the rim's as easily or at all.

i'm not 100% shure but i think you are limited to the same size wheel's on those truck's?

your handling issues is not caused by the size of the wheel hex but rather the setup of the truck, try googling for a slayer setup sheet or check out traxxas.com and see if they have some info posted on how to set up the slayer for dirt oval....

The hexes allow you to run buggy wheels and tires......It should be a huge advantage but I couldn't tell you for sure.

ive been looking in to this for a while and the way to go seems to be either 1/8th scale buggy wheels or 1/2 in offset 2.2 mt wheels either way ur gonna need 17mm adapters.

personally im looking at 1/2 offset rpm revolvers with Panther Komono Dragon LP tires.

other options to keep the stock wheel look are the proline switch beadlocks which ive heard bad things about tires pulling off
Asssociated SC8 aka KMC wheels are suposed to fit with 17mm adapters and there dirt cheep for 63 bucks for 4 mounted tires and rims from tower
