Default Jammin' 21 engine ?

Hey,
I purchased a used Jammin' 21 engine for a backup. While inspecting the
engine I noticed that their were 2 head shims in it, thin and thick.
Are 2 shims to be used ?

Thanks,

Yes it comes shimmed for anywhere from 15-30% Nitro content..Break in with 20% as per instructions and then You can run up to 30% without adding or removing shims
