Losi 8ight Fuel Line Loose on Carb
Hello all,
I had to remove the engine in my Losi 8ight. I went to attach the fuel line to the carb and it won't stay on. I'm guessing the lubrication in the nitro fuel is making it too slippery. Anyone have this problem? Do I need to clean off any nitro residue from the hose and fitting before re-attaching the hose? If so, what is recommended as a cleaning solution? Do they make a small cable clamp (or similar home-made item) to keep the hose firmly attached?
Thanks.

Use fuel tubing the zip tie has sharp edges and can cut into the line from all the vibration. I have this same problem with the stock losi fuel line. I replaced it and the problem is gone. Personally I like the Kyosho brand but any brand will do. The losi line just seems to get softer and enlarge a little easier than other brands.

Just cut a little off of the existing line where it goes into carb or get some new fuel line
