I go to the track twice a week and my wife is pretty cool about that. She nags about the cost and the time sometimes, but what wife doesn't have something to nag about every once in awhile? I can't wait till my son gets a little bit older, then I'll be doing it for the kids.... spending quality time with my son... no more wife complaining about it
its Money wise and time wise...She keep complaining about the time I spend tweaking my Rc all nite.....and you know the cost of this hobby

we argued a little bit about me not wanting her at the track and i told her that i didnt say anything about her going to the track with me, so in this argument i told her i would like her to come but i said i thought you didnt want to come to the track cause i kept asking if she wanted to go and no answer so i went....

funny when you start dating someone, and they say, "it's so nice to date a guy that's not going out to bars all the time."

6 months later,,,"you're frikin going to the frikin track to play with your frikin toy car, and come home smelling of frikin sweat and greese,,,,again"!!!!!!

sony you have to do things right by family first and 4 most which means dont put so much time into your ride at home give her the week days just make sure you have the parts you need for your ride then tell her only one day a week get to track at break of dawn fix and rebuild car there if track aint open then do it in the parking lot on your own pit table whatever it takes family is important. and as for the money that can be rough i have had to sell my chasis a few times when things have got bad with money but i always keep everything else so when it gets better all i need is a roller and i am ready again. with track at house and good friends when it gets bad friends let me rock thier chasis so i can stay practiced up. good luck to you patch the bridge with wifey and compromise a little.

My wife didn't like to go to the track, take long rides on
the Harley or spend the weekend on the boat fishing on
the bay. So my girlfriend took her place likes to be with
me anywhere that I go. So, I bought the wife a house
and a devorce. Now it's all good.
