Default Team Losi Tuned Pipes

How many of you guys are using the Losi RE11? I'm getting my 2.0 this weekend and I will need a new pipe. I'm either going to use my MR ninja or an EB Mods V-Spec. How does this pipes compare to say a JP-4? What other pipes would you guys recommend? These engines already have great bottom end so I'm looking for a mid to top end pipe or maybe something that will smooth the power band a bit.

The RE11 is an os 2050 copy so it should be awesome on your v-spec. Not sure about the GRP based MR ninja though.

The pipe looks so temping. I was just looking at the O.S. pipe you mentioned and O.S. must be smoking something if they think I'm gonna pay $130. My budget for the pipe is $100 so throw some suggestions in.

Yeah the OS pipes are very pricey. Actually that is what has kept me from getting one for so long. I may have to pick up a 2060 though, if losi doesn't copy that one soon.

A good option for the GRP(ninja) would be an 053. They will run decent on a v-spec too. I personally love the JP-3 on my v-spec. Might be a little too snappy in a buggy though.

I too have had very good luck with the EB 2041 on the v-spec.

What are your thoughts on the dynamite pipes? If I decide on running the v-spec I might as well use the pipe that's intended for it. I'm currently using a jp-3 on my ninja, but I want to smooth the powerband a bit.

the dynamite pipes are very good. The 053 would do well on a v-spec. But IMO the best pipes for the v-spec are JP-3, 2050(RE11), 2060, EB 2041. Not in that order. They all have different features/powerbands.

Here you go, the RE10 is supposed to be similar to the 2060:

I'm pickin' one up tomorrow to try on an os Ninja since the 2060 is supposed to be the best all around pipe for it but the RE10 is half the price and is not chrome which I like.

Yeah but if you look at them side by side they arent as simmilar as the 2050 and re11 are. LMK how it goes on the ninja. I am really wanting a 2060 without the 2060 price tag or the chrome(I hate chrome too).

Awww your giving me to many choices

IDK, I'm still leaning toward the RE11 and maybe a Dyna 053.

Well for a v-spec the 2050/re11 is definately what you want. For the GRP ninja the 053 is a good bet. Preforms better than the GRP/Mugen reccomended 2053.

The new Ninja pipe 2043 is an O.S. made copy of the 2060. It is available without a manifold for about $90 I think.

Yeah the mugen 2042 and 2060 are the exact same pipe. Like you said you can get it without manifold so you get to choose your own manifold or just use one that you have. The 2060 can be found on ebay for around $135 shipped.
