which 1/8 buggy?

hi guys,
sorry if this has been posted before.
all along i've been racing 1/10 nitro onroads; but decided to try 1/8 off roads also...

deciding between:
1. 777WC, Hyper9 or TM B8RS
2. xray 808 or MP9

which will you go for in (1) and (2)?
parts are no problem for any one above. :D

I hope you aren't a team driver with this attitude. If you dont have anything good to say then dont read the thread. Im sure you are perfect !!

Im sorry I cannot help you with this one. I am currently building a Hot Bodies D8 and it seems to be a decent car for the money. Maybe someone without the attitude will chime in with some advice. This is a team sport and obviously there are some that think they know it all. Avoid them at all costs.

XRay is second to none when it comes to quality parts. Their stuff fits together perfect the first time.

I would agree. From the cars listed the 808 would be my choice.

out of the ones you have chosen the xb808, the mp9 i had for a few months was way to fragile, the 777wc is a bit out of date, the other choices arent on the same level, another car you might wanna consider the mugen mbx6 they handle well and are very durable

malik 04-02-2009 09:47 AM

The Hyper 9 is sweet so is the B8RS, I also like the looks and what I have seen of the 808. I am running a D8 right now and like it alot.

Akhor 04-02-2009 11:20 AM

With the ones that you've listed I'd go with the 808.

It's pretty much a repackaged losi ;)

Owen RaCing 04-02-2009 11:41 AM

XB808 or 777WC.

I Like my 777 alot. Pretty much a tank of a car.

GH Racing 04-03-2009 10:19 PM

I would go with the XRay 808

I am happy with the build quality of my 808 but havent raced it as yet but talking to the guys racing in New Zealand they say the 808 is very tough so you dont need alot of parts backup:) 808 for me:nod:

When you do race it you know that 808 will be eating MP9 dust LOL

To the original poster, We have had the 808 and MP9 side by side, and the quality is equal. I'm not sure why some people have had durability probs with the MP9, when others have had no trouble at all. either of those 2 cars are at the top of the tree quality wise, along with probably Mugen and O'Donnell

amonmp9 04-04-2009 02:44 AM

kyosho mp9.

the most important reason form me is that this is the most easy car to go fast.
