RC8 bad fuel tank
What is the deal with RC8 tanks?
I just picked up an RC8 and I hear the tanks are bad with creating air pockets in the line. I also hear there are about 3 versions of that tank to fix the issue/s. I hear people replace them with jammin tanks. What's the final word on this? How do I know if mine is a bad tank. Are they bad? Do I need to replace it?

The only thing I know is that the original tanks that were smoke-colored were having leaking problems. The white opaque tanks are the newer tanks. The only real way to know if you have a bad tank is to take it out, plug the fuel line and blow through the pressure line.

Ive had 3 myself and the blow in the line trick didnt work for me...I am a smoker so maybe that was the problem..check this link for info on what to look for and what to do. http://www.aeforums.co.uk/forum/inde...showtopic=2061
If you have a white tank then try it and see if you get a clean flow through your lines. Make sure you run the tank dry because my last issue tank only starting messing up half empty. If you do have issues you can easily call AE and they should send you a new one. The latest and greatest seem to be ok.
