Y-Rock Innovations/Sleeve Resizing
I'm a veteran racer of fifteen years and a tool and die mold making machinist. I've been successfully pinching sleeves for friends and machining various fixtures rc related for a long time. Now I'm just getting the word out to offer my services because I'm noticing a large demand.
I have a technique that squeezes nitro sleeves around the whole outer surface. It is not a "pinching" action like a clamp. My technique assures a perfect seal of your piston at the top of cylinder. I also polish the intake ports and smooth out the inner diameter of the crank. This improves flow of fuel, which helps mileage. My service costs $20. If you mail me your engine, I will pay to mail it back to you. When you mail your engine, just send a twenty dollar bill in the package and in a week, you will have a mill ready for racing.
I'm also promoting a pin removal tool for Losi dogbones. Price is $20.
Here's an example of my resizing service. I remove all of the oxidation to a like new condition.
Here's a pic of the polishing of the inner diameter of the crank.
Here's a before and after of a polishing job for a recent client.
And here's my pin removal tool for Losi bones.
Push the old pin out and screw the new pin in. Very simple. The replacement pin is a Mugen 3 by 14mm.
