I saw a guy whom had his box mounted somehow on a side post battery like comes in a chevy wired to th post bolts heavy but pretty neat

The Lipo battery is the way to go. Light and lasts and lasts and lasts. Mine is awesome. Wouldn't want to do it any other way.

I run a 3cell 4400 venom lipo in my starter box with no issues and VERY long run time. I have not charged my pack since Omaha last fall. Last pack last me 3 years and was a MAJOR upgrade from Gel. Gel kicks less power and is WAY heavier than a lipo. AC would work only if you stay at that track and in the same spot each time. AC sounds very inconvenient to me.
