Default help with muffler please?

I just got my dynamite platinum 086 pipe. I am supposed to connect one of the hosses from the fuel tank to the muffler. Well the nipple that is connected to the pipe is facing the WRONG direction (according to the directions of my mugen mbx6). If i bend the tube it gets a bad kink in it. I guess maybe i could go all the way around the other side of the air filter and carborator. But that doesn't seem right either. What do i do????

You just need longer line , not all pipes have the nipple going the same direction .

ok. In my mugen manual, it has a picture with two long springs that attach to the manifold, go around the motor and attach to the other side of the manifold. I got my dynamite 086 and it has four holes in the manifold to hold theese springs as shown in the pic of my manual. THing is, the pipe came with 1 long spring and 3 little ones???? how is this supposed to work??? Also my pipe is sitting on the plastic guard that is attached to the chasses. Will it not melt???? sorry for the mundaine questions. But i have never ran nitro before and want to make sure i know what i am doing so i dont mess up. Thease springs have me confused. Did i get shorted on the parts of got the wrong ones???

The short springs connect the header to the pipe and the long spring goes around the engine to connect the header to the engine . Once you get the pipe on engine and on the pipe mount it shouldn`t be sitting on the mud guard .

I still don't understand. I only have 3 small springs yet 4 holes on the manifold. It would make sense if i had 4 small springs. Am i missing a spring??? I understand what you are saying about it being pulled up with the springs. I can turn the pipe so it doesnt' sit on the mud gurard, and the spings will hold it up off the mud guard???

Ok pay attention..The long spring goes around your engine to the header where it connects to your engine, there are 4 holes in case you want to use 2 springs..u only get one, but u can use 2, for added saftey..

The little (3) springs connect the pipe to the manifold..just search for some pics you will see it...

got it!!!

you can tell i have never ran nitro. I also noticed (duh!!) that the kit comes with a rod to hold the muffler off the mud guard. Only thing is I have a high end pipe for my ofna .26 and the rod is 2 short so i will use one of my allen wrenches!!!

If that pipe is for your .26 it won`t work on that .12 engine . The seal will leak along with the pipe is made for a big block engine and the .12 will run like crap .

On-road cars usually don't have mud guards either. Could we be talking about a car other than shown in the picture.

Mugen MBX 6 I think he said.
