Default handling with different wings

does anyone see a noticable handling differance between differant manufacturers wings? I have a stock 8ight wing and a jconcepts wing. The Losi has a much more vertical rear edge, almost like a gurney flap or wicker bill. It also has the vertical fins, seems like it might help straight line stability. The Jconcepts is more swoopy and has the holes to speed up air over the top of the wing increasing high speed downforce, but a less steep rear edge. Just curious as to what people think.

I have noticed different characteristcs on handling with different wings. I like the AE wing it makes my car fly alot more stable. The stock wing is good all around I like the JC in the past too. I used that and the AE on my Truggy last year my next wing will be the VP-PRO.

There is a noteable difference between the std. Proline and HD Proline.

I much prefer the std. Proline; but now that it's been discontinued I'm looking at the Losi unit, probably with the center spars cut out.

It really is something you'll have to experiment with on your track and car.

On my 8ight I noticed significant handling difference between different wings. For me the original wing felt the best on jumps (jumping, flying, landing) and Pro-Line HD on the rest of the track. I think it mostly depends on the track and what you are looking for.

I noticed after I bolted on one of the proline high down force wings that my buggy had more of a push to it. This is not a bad thing but I see it as a further tuning aid. I prefer a standard proline wing or one of the mbx6 kit wings.

the jc downforce wing makes a big diffrence i notice from a stock wing on a hyper 7 ,the downforce helps from the rear end coming out from u and in jumping the jc wing it makes the buggy more level if u ask me ,the stock wing i had u had to do some throttle outputs to level it.
