so i got this hole engine break in thing down, but now i have a new question... i see some people talk about breaking there engine in on their work bench. How in the hell do you do that... how do you get the engine to fire up and run not being in the car, connected to a servo for carb control ect...

It's a special setup that mounts on a bench. You use a cut down propeller and special adaper for car engines. It also has a bellcrank throttle linkage that uses friction to hold the throttle in position you set. It is started with a hand held airplane starter. Hudy and RD logics both make them.

they are nice...but there are things you should know before you try this. you will have to have an On-road header, a hand held starter like for a plane, and do not be afraid to run it WOT...and it is loud as hell. as far as i know they are meant to do at high rpm with a rich setting. it is a process but worth it.

I just started breaking in the motors I sell on a Hudy bench. I was amazed that there was no room for a air cleaner. I altered mine so I could fit a filter on it, my garage can't be that clean! lol.
After using the bench I can see how much easier it is on the motor, it fires up right away and never flames.
