Hi,

I have one of these engines in my buggy 1/8 scale.Runs great.Has about a gallon and one half through it.Ive never timed it but seems like I put fuel in it quite a bit.Thinking about racing it soon.So what temps do you guys run for best power and fuel usage.I have the idle and HSN leaned quite a bit.Your thoughts please.

7 MM venturi..2050, or RE-11 pipe..temps are no higher than 220..that's arizona, no humidity. 60-80 degrees now..

i run the 8mm venturi with the losi re11 pipe, i run mine at 225 and get 9 1/2 to 11 min (depending on layout). i have a buddy that gets 8/9 gallons and runs his at 235/240. little hot for me....

Im running the JP-3 pipe with the big restrictor.Seems like no matter what it runs clean not fat.Until I come out of the corner for the long straight,and then its fat for 2 sec or so and cleans up.I run around 220-240 temp 30% Byrons.Any thoughts?

i run the same motor on my hyper 8.. nitrotane 30% afer 10 minute main i pull temps around 225 and thats even when it gets colder at night and i should fatten up the bottom. sounds like you need to fatten up the top end a little
