Default Will Traxxas ever get into 1/8 buggy or truggy??

Since the MT class is about extinct, I was wondering if they would ever get involved in 1/8 racing. Seems like that is what the hobby is all about anymore.

I doubt it as they are more oriented to the easy to use/ beginner stuff. And cheap things.

I would think they wouldn't since they are one of the few companies doing well filling a niche in the market. They make great vehicles for both bashing and racing and come out with some outstanding new vehicles. Sometimes, I would think that they reached as far as they could go, but then they come out with a new vehicle that invents a new class or need in either electric or nitro.

I believe the hobby needs companies like Traxxas who will stand strong for the "simpler" starter rc vehicles, a noob shouldn't have to jump into 1/8th buggy or truggy to enjoy the hobby. Like it was stated before, Traxxas holds down a certain niche that is crucial to the survival of all rc.

if it ever became 1/8th or bust in this hobby I could gurantee that the newcomers would stay away because of cost, and for the ones that made the jump would quickly become frustrated and quit before they could every really enjoy this addictive sport or hobby which ever you prefer...

I hope all companies will hold Traxxas' way of business, and support all the forms of of the hobby that got them to where they are today.. LOSI in particular... yes they do provide some good rtr's but come on..

I love Traxxas! Don't get me wrong, I would take my Losi 8T over any Traxxas but I get way more grins playing with my Traxxas than I do with my Losi. With how big the Revo is I find it funny they call it a 1/10 scale, seems big enough to be 1/8 scale

I was out of the hobby for 20 years, until a neighbor got me back in by convincing me to buy a Jato 3.3, 2 years ago. (Speed sells cars), especially to newbies That car also brought back 2 other friends of mine that had been away from the hobby for sometime as well.

Although myself as well as my two friends have migrated into the Losi 8ight world, if it wasn't for Traxxas I as well as them would have long forgotten about this hobby. Not to mention, that Losi benefited from Traxxas as well, by gaining three new customers!

I could not agree more that Traxxas fills a niche in the market that is essential for the hobbies survival, as previously mentioned that most will never set foot on a race track. They certainly have an excellent marketing department, and their customer service is excellent as well.

I would love to see Traxxas put out a 1/8 scale buggy or truggy. I just don't believe that they want to play in that market.
