Default Break in question

I have a new RB C6 that I am starting to break-in. It seems that I have a bad glowplug right off the bat. The engine would not idle unless the glow ignitor was attached. So I took out the plug out and tested it on the glow ignitor and it wouldn't glow. So I figured the plug was bad. But I had started the break-in so I continued with the ignitor attached until I was done with the part I was doing. Question is: did I do any damage?

Thanks - Keith

If the plug element did not break off the plug and fall into the engine then your fine. Just put a new plug in it and enjoy.
