I was thinkig about the same thing. I just got mine a couple of days ago.

As you know the module is a direct plug in. I figured the only way to do it is by cutting wires adding wire and redirecting all of the internals.

It will be a nightmare and I don't want to mess it up. Sorry this wasn't helpful.

If you take the metal anrenna off it doesent look all that bad.

Do a search on Google, or check Airtronics website..I'll try and find a Linky Dink for you two since you are both incapable of doing your own searches

I did the antenna mod on my M11 with the Spektrum module, but pretty much same ordeal. Here is the instruction (although it's for the M8, but similiar layout as M11). http://www.rc411.com/pages/howto.php?howto=16&page=1

I did my M11 with the DSS module but had to use a Spektrum antenna as the Airtronics versions wire is too short. Also ended up sniping off one of the pins conecting the module (you cut off the one that goes to the FM antenna) to make room for 2.4g the antenna lead. The RC411 article is a good guide but they are modifying a M8 radio.

You can get the Spektrum TX antenna off Ebay for around ten bucks.
