Looks like a JR Z590M in the steering, so probably a Z270 for throttle.

I'm sure it will be almost exactly how the 1.0 RTR was. The chassis is not the tuned flex or milled chassis, just a flat piece of aluminum. The shock caps will need to be replaced with aluminum. The clutch only has 2 shoes so it will need springs and shoes. The included shoes are not the same as the roller or kit so you'll need 4 sets of shoes/springs. The shock towers are not very strong, again just a flat piece of soft aluminum. All the hinge pins and wheel hexes are not hardened. Finally the included servos are junk, the steering servo a JR Z590M can go on throttle, but you'll still need a 50-100 dollar steering servo.

You might want to look at what your talking about before guessing. The chassis looks milled to me http://www.losi.com/Products/Default...rodID=LOSB2288. As far as the rest like the plastic shock caps. How do you think they get the cost down? It's still the best RTR package out there..

The race chassis is milled out more in other areas versus the RTR chassis. This is apparent in the 2.0 version and the 1.0 version (which I have.)

I'm still using the plastic shock caps. Holding up not too bad so far.... However, the front shocktowers bent as soon as I did a bad jump. They were replaced with the thicker and CNC machined towers.

Ya, this RTR kit is pretty sick. Comes with an awsome buggy, staterbox and dsm..

Really you could not ask for more.

Sounds like someone has some issues with Losi or got up on the wrong side of the bed

Nah I own 3, 8ights and one of them used to be a RTR. I got all the upgrade parts to make it a race roller on Ebay. Most of the RTR parts really can't compare to the roller. It was also a pain to clean out all 3 diffs and refill them with oil. It sounds like the 2.0 RTR is a slight improvement in some areas like diffs with oil and a milled chassis. However I guarantee the 2.0 chassis is the softer aluminum and not the hardened stuff used on the roller.

We put the sensor on the radio tray and glued the chrome tape onto the diff case. It is a very tight fit but works perfect.
