Default OFNA Foams

Just curious as to what your guys thoughts on the OFNA yellow foams are. Are they better than proline foams? How long do they last? I know aka foams are the best but I cannot find a place that sells the foams by themselves.

You are correct on all counts. Ofnas are decent but AKA is better. Didn't know if you needed truggy or buggy but they have em both. Great e shop!

They last longer I know that. stormer has buggy foams as well. Just get AKA and be done with it. They can be reused for many sets of tires.

They'll last you the life time of the tire and sometimes into a second set of tire it just depends on the sidewall if it has not broke down or glued together to the wheel.

this is a good point here - alot of times with my 1/10 scales tires, when i use the trinity bomb 1 foams, i will save them cause they soften up after they go through the first pair of tires. This allows you to use them in the front, as they are not as stiff, if you run on a hard packed track or use them again in the rear if you run on a blown out track, as they are softer. This is another tuning option to help balance the car/truck out in terms of traction.

The same theory applies to the molded foams, although i havent tried it on my 1/8 scale yet.
