not yet. I would assume a couple months down the line. Should be good though.

I got an OFNA Hyper 7 PBS for my first 1/8th scale. It has a Macstar 28 that has been very solid through the first two gallons. I did have to ditch the pullstart and get a starter box, but I like it much better that way. All I've busted were shock towers, parts are cheap, and it's a better car than I am a driver. I'm learning a lot about set up, etc. I did replace the entire radio system with real servos, a spektrum system and a five cell battery pack.

CEN and GS racing both make decent RTR thats cheap. But if there is any chance your gonna want to race a little more competitively I would think about a kit. Hot Bodies D8 is a good choice, its cheap, and has lots of upgrades. Only thing is, if you get a kit, you still need to spend the extra cash on electronics and engine.

I beg to differ!! The rtr engine supplied with the new 2.0 RTR is an SH engine and it will certainly be better than any Italian engine made, thats why they chose it for the best rtr buggy ever made fool

I beg to differ! Price point on supplies is the thinking on parts. How can you make a buck with all the good stuff? The retail price would be 1200 - 14000 bucks. BTW, people don't like to be called fool. Tone it down a little.

that losi is a damn nice RTR. If it comes with the 3port sh with the 14mm crank it will be enough power on short to medium tracks. plus Sh engines are about the easiest motors to tune.Coming with a starterbox and decent radio gear IMO this is the best way to get into 1/8th (and Im not a losi fan). Just buy some tires and hit the track.

GRP isnt falling apart they are done! mario rossi was one of the main shareholders and he sold out and left. Then the italian paper were reporting GRP were filing for bankrupcy.

The radio is $250.00 alone
The bump box is $100.00
so your basically getting a race ready car for $300.00.
I'm not a fan of Losi's because of thier "wear out quickly" problem but from a business standpoint, that RTR will sell more than any other out there.
