Default Nitro Fuel

Hey guys,
I am kinda new here and am wondering what everyone likes to run as far as nitro fuel?
What percentages of nitro and oil do you guys like and why?

Thanks
Steven

The popular nitro content ranges from 20-30%. Most serious racers probably run 30%.

The Byrons fuel, which is what I run also, has 11% oil I believe. Anything around that seems to be plenty sufficient for lubrication.

As I have been told, 30% can actually run cooler than lower nitro percentages, but my personal experience has been that I can't tell a huge difference between 20 or 30% performance-wise.

I have had nothing but pleasent expierinces with Odonnells, 20%, 30% as well as Byrons Race 30%, and Sidewinder 20, 30%. They all have 8-14% oil, and all have kicked butt in my engines..I think Byrons is the best, but I will use any of those 3

Default fuel

I run Sidewinder World Championship 30% it works great for me, it is red so I can see it in my tank and fuel gun, it has after run oil in it, and it is the same from gallon to gallon. I went from Sidewinder to Nitrotane with catastrophic results. I will stay with Sidewinder. I was told that the engines love Castor oil and most of the fuels use synthetic oil. I think EB Mods fuel has Castor oil in it and they are 11%, I think I will try it with my next motor.

I run sidewinder 30% switched from byron gen 2. Ive had nothing but great luck with sidewinder plus it really keeps the inside of the motor well lubricated.

What exactly happen when you switched to Nitrotane that made you go back to Sidewinder?

I have to agree with Mo. Switched to Sidewinder and will continue to run it.

I ran O'donnell 20% for the last two years and had great results. Now its 40 bucks a gallon at tower + shipping. Im going to byrons 25% and hope it works well for me. O'donnell is the best if you can buy it at your local shop. If not go Byrons or Sidewinder. Im not a pro just my 2cent. I think 30% is for the top 5% of drivers that need every advantage at big races.
