I run Sidewinder 30/12. Have no problems with it. Good engine protection package. Good price and supply locally. Only other fuel I would happily swich to if I had no other choice would be Byrons.

Note: If I was much more competitive, I would run a fuel with 8%-9% oil just for the better runtime and preformance. At the expense of engine life.

I was just wondering for those of you who are using Sidewinder. . . When you guys clean your motors, are they stained with a little red color? Also, how's the internals?

Not to bag on the fuel, but I usually use byron's gen 2 and may have to switch to the sidewinder fuel in the near future. I've always used sometype of byron's fuel for the last 7 years or so, but the cost of the byron's fuel is getting to be a problem if one of the lhs is out of stock. One store sells if for 25 a gallon which is okay, but the other sells the same fuel for 35 a gallon. I can get the sidewinder 20% for 25 dollars a gallon pretty easily at a different hobby store. Thanks for the help.

Byrons Gen 2 25%

Runs super clean and gets excellent run time!
Not as expensive as 30% too!

A little pink or white coating. Not really stained. Think it's the after run protection. Coats the crank and bearings more than the aluminum parts, and it takes quite a while to build up.

Nitrotane. Works great for me and my motor always looks brand new inside. I run 20% and 30% depending on if I am having runtime issues and what engine I am running.

Default Fuel

I,ve used alot of different fuels over the years but odonnel and byrons are good choices. I have mixed my own using Blendzall green label oil 10% and it's really good oil.

I have tried all the above fuel including TQ and Cold Fusion fuel is by far the best around. It lowers engine temps and is keeps a good tune but the most important thing to me is it keeps the engine clean inside. Still looks new inside after 2 gallons. Those results will keep me running this fuel, 30% and 11% oil.
