+ 1 to avoiding JR products. All have given me problems, and then there is the new "feature" on some recent ones. They won't fit any horn, including the JR horns themselves. They're useless before even opening the package and being stuck with them.

My favorite servos (so far) are Futaba 9351. I use them for steering and throttle in my 8ight-T. They're very fast. I think they're rated around 200 oz torque, but I'm struggling to think of a situation where I'd need more torque than that.

I also like Hi-Tec and I have them in my 8ight-B.

jr 8711's are flawless and the new 8711hv's would prolly rip your front steering rack off before they broke. solid servos and of course if they do fail jr replaces them for free, how can you go wrong?

Im a big fan of the ACE servos. Ive been running the same 2 ace servos in my jammin for almost 2 years now and no problems. Outdoor and a very tight indoor track and i also race at least 3 out of 4 weekends a month.

My JR servos work flawless. Z9100 and ds8711. You need the proper radio to set up digital servo. If the epa isnt right you will burn up any servos out. I've had nothing but luck with mine. The ds8711 is over a year and the 9100 is over 6 months. THey work flawess. MOst everyone at my local tracks run JR's. THats why I invested in them. For the most part most servos over $90 are good choices, it just comes down to your personal brand. Futaba, hitec, JR , ACE, Airtronics, and KO have great servos. They all have cheapo's and quality servo.

I ran ACE servos last year and had no problems. 1015 steering and 1313 brake. Whats wrong with them? Whats better? 99$$ and 79$$ seems like a good price too.

when they take you out of multiple race's due to poor quality top cases and gear's.....then come back and make that statement.

ace 1015 is a good servo just check the wires (sometimes poor solder) fast and strong .. the futaba 351 and 352 are good as well.... k.o propos 2367 2368 and 2358 also good.. sanwas vz vx are also others to consider...

SO I guess for the time being the best servo out as the title of this thread says is the JRZ9100HVT and JRZ9100HVS as long as you do not mind paying for the best. Sure there are other great servos on the market for the price and many will work well for what you need them for but if you want the best that is available now with out waiting half the season for future models that have not been released yet then the JR high Voltage series are the best as of now.
