as of now there are 4 veteran racers using the h9 in our local track, one of the racers gets pissed off on his buggy and hes offering me his h9 for $250 with tons of spares,i dont whether to get it or not

Thats a great deal. If is isnt too used but with lots of spares why not. The best time to buy off guys is when they are pissed at what ever they want to sell, it probably just doesnt fit his style.

Well I like the X2. I own the X2 truggy and its very durable. The H9 just looks a little flimsy to me. A little on the crowded side. I like to have room to work around. Didn't know Kortz beat James. O well.

thats a deal reguardless of wat buggy it is (as long as its still competitiveand in good condition) jump on it. even if you dont like it you probably could turn around a sell it it for like $350

but i would seriously like to here why it wasnt working for him

you can always come to the H9 forum and ask questions. DJ and the other guys there are always willing to help.

i would jump on it. not jus becuz i am semi biased but becuz even Hyper Haters know when to jump on a good deal.

and thats not the 1st time if you look at other races, he's beat Drake, Truhe, Mayfield, Cav... oh and of course the Jammin Boys

not to disrespect any other team and/or driver but i think the buggy does have a decent role in Kortz's new found success

Go with the X2!!... I have just over a gallon on mine and it has been the best buggy i have owned.. Turns awsome, jumps awsome and it is durable.. Plus parts are cheap for it too.... It also comes with titanium turnbuckles, kick a$$ proline tires that you can actually use... Plus its easy to work on... the H9 seems a bit crammed together for my taste....

Also wats with all this cramped talk??? everything is just as easily accessable as on any other 1/8... only thing that takes a little extra time is getting to the battery box, but it only takes 1.30mins to get to it...

dont get me wrong, its a narrow chassis but its in no way cramped

Get the 9 dude and dont look back.. The design is the new era and more buggy's will follow like it!!( tamiya has produced a buggy with a tilted engine the trf801x) 999999 all the way!!!!!! the jammin is just an x1 with tons of hop-ups nothing special(my opionion).. Also that non bolt on wing takes a full second off lap times! Kortz hasnt been as succesfull untill now and i wonder why

If I were you, I'd see if they would let you drive both buggys. It may be that one car suits your driving style better than another. I cannot comment on the H9 as I haven't even seen one on the track yet, but the Jammin X2 is definitely NOT an X1 with a bunch of hop up parts. Trust me, I know, having gone from an X1 to an X2. Chassis has been completely revised, along with 6-8 ounces of weight being taken out of the car. It drives very different from the old X1. Turns better, jumps better, accelerates quicker. Different animal altogether.

i say again, look at kortz results, he was never up in the top 5 consistantly like he is now, and he's always been one of the best

read my review Amain. it should still be the most current. awsome buggy, price keeps getting better AND the design is ahead of the curve, down the street, on top of the hill.

i will coin this phrase now: "HYPER or FAIL" -Blake B.

yes i own 1. if your on the fence, the hyper is should be the only way to go.
Re Diff leaking

Still seems to be an issue for the H9, which is a real shame ..
